Prison Ministry
We believe at NCWM that the Body of Christ must get out of the four walls of the
church and meet the needs of the people.  In 2010 we established a Prison Ministry
to weekly bring the Word of God to inmates in the County Detention Facility.  We
bring the hope of Jesus Christ every Wednesday to the men who attend our Bible
Study and Mentoring Program.  Everyone has a soul longing for Jesus, even those
who are in prison. They need someone to share the
"Love" of Christ with them and
to tell them of God's amazing Grace, Mercy and Love.

Matthew 25:35-36 says, "For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in".  Naked
and ye clothed me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me".

Today, there are over 2 million people incarcerated in the USA and on average it
cost $49,000 a year of capital expense to care for an inmate and this is projected to
$65,000 by  the end of 2015.  We believe this is not just a cost and safety issue but
"Spiritual Issue" especially in California where due to over crowded conditions
many inmates are released early.  However, the national recidivism rate remains
virtually unchanged, with about half of released inmates returning to jail or prison
within 3 years.  Our goal is to meet the Spiritual and Natural needs of the inmates by
exposing them to Jesus standards and better way to live in society.

NCWM will not stop at just addressing the Spiritual needs of the inmates but we have
established a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation called ToTouch One (TTO). (TTO) is
a nonprofit organization providing vocational training and essential skills training for
at-risk youth and young adults who find themselves; in high risk situations and
returning citizens who were formerly incarcerated.  Take a moment and visit our
